Something New for the Holidays

Every year Kent State’s fund raising office produces a holiday greeting for donors and nondonors, usually created by me. In years past, we’ve done a variety of animated and video cards. This past year, I wanted to try something new. I proposed then produced a “make your own holiday card” microsite.

This app bends our university’s content management system to produce a completely unique experience. Site visitors can create and share their own Kent State holiday greetings via popular social channels (Twitter, Facebook) and email.

The site was a success, with hundreds of alumni across the globe producing and sharing holidays greetings.
