Adaptive Birthday

Kent State’s alumni association wanted to send a simple email greeting to alumni on their birthdays. I created an animated card that can be personalized with the recipient’s name. The cards also adapt to the device they are being viewed in through a technique known as responsive design. For example, the card will size down to fit onto a phone or scale up to be viewed on a desktop computer. The card is also friendly to users of all types — it functions without JavaScript for users whose screen readers won’t support it and for old browsers that don’t recognize it.
