Experience

Intelligently juggle multiple deadlines and competing priorities, essentially serving as own "project manager." Provide quality customer service to more than 100 campus departments, groups and organizations.
Grown role beyond marketing and simple page maintenance. From the complex -- creating an online wayfinding system and programming a "make-your-own-card" application for the Annual Fund -- to the simple -- turning a daily task of updating an RSS feed into a simple ColdFusion script.
Translate difficult concepts for nontechnical users through monthly trainings and supporting materials for university's content management system.

Assisted staff with redesign of brsq.org, an online youth news publication and main program of educational nonprofit Citizen X. Revamped a broken, half-completed design by previous designer. Staff now using highly customized version of WordPress for publishing.
Working to secure this nonprofit's future, both financial and organizational, through work on board.

Trained staffers and helped them produce twice-daily video webcast from a German trade show.
Shot a series of videos profiling companies for magazine's plastic-company-of-the-year award.
Helped design in-house audio/video studio.
Coordinated very early stages of web site redesign.

Became the Times-Reporter's first web editor, creating image slideshows, video and other multimedia.
